The world doesn’t have enough images of older women and men being athletic, determined and having fun doing it.
So I am incredibly grateful for the work of the wonderful Alex Rotas, whose website is a gallery of inspiring pictures which are well worth a browse.
Not just to celebrate people who are just as exceptional in their age groups as the athletes we see on our screens all the time.
But also to remind ourselves of our potential as human beings, and that how we age has a lot to do with the choices we make.
And it’s never too late to start treating ourselves like athletes and pushing our own boundaries.
