If you wait for the perfect weather, you’ll never go for a run.
Maybe it’s too too cold. If it’s not too cold, it’s too hot. Too wet. Too dark.
The side of us that doesn’t like being uncomfortable is incredibly creative at finding reasons not to go.
Even if the weather’s perfect, it will find another way to stop us. We’re too busy or too tired.
It’s clever.
It doesn’t say, don’t follow your goals. It says, this isn’t the time.
But each time we choose not to move towards our goals is another day lost. And tomorrow another reason not to do it will appear.
There will never be a time that’s perfect enough to silence that protective voice.
And knowing that helps set us free to just do it anyway.
